15mm GREAT YOBBITE SWARM
When it all starts, it's actually quite pretty. At night it looks like shooting stars, except they are falling in parallel lines, almost in formation. Sparkly! Soon the pics are all over social media.
But soon after, the smelly hairy brutes appear, biting off people's heads, barreling around like bulls, being generally disgusting. Doing their business wherever they please. They're not particularly easy to kill, but it can be done -- even a well-managed cricket bat will do in a pinch. But when they charge in numbers, and increasingly they do,
that's a real menace. Sometimes there's enough of them to even give soldiers a hard fight.
People soon drew a connection between the shooting stars and the smelly hairy charging things, which someone in Manchester soon dubbed the "Yobbites." Was this mankind's first contact with extraterrestrial life? Cor, I hope not.

YOBBITES
Dangerous in a gang, lifethreatening in a mob, terrifying in a warband. All they seem to have is brute strength, speed, and utter fearlessness, but in sufficient numbers, that's quite enough. (Yobbites in the image are mounted on 40mm width bases.)
